November Fall Tea Event

Every Fall we start off the new season with a major speaker or panel on a topic crucial to our community by a prominent speaker. The 2019 Annual Fall Tea toook place on Sunday, November 17, 2019, from 3pm-5pm at Beth el Congregation, 8215 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD. The topic was Forgotten Transports,Testimonials of Bystanders to Deportations. The speaker was Lukas Tribyl, grandson of Holocaust survivors, and Czech diplomat and filmmaker. His award-winning documentary series describes the deportations of Jews to little-known camps and ghettos established by the Nazis in occupied Baltic states, Belarus and Poland.
